Welcome back from the holidays!

The construction on the South Lake Avenue street medians from Colorado Boulevard to California Boulevard has been completed.  The recently renovated street medians received a more contemporary look with a brand new landscape design.  In addition, new high-tech irrigation and electrical systems were installed to allow South Lake Avenue to conserve water and power.  The upgraded electrical system will also allow South Lake to keep its new LED, low energy consumption tree lights plugged in and turned on throughout the year.

The two traffic islands located on Lake Avenue and Del Mar Boulevard will also be getting a fresh look in the near future so stay tuned for details!

The South Lake Business Association's newsletter is a source of information and news for businesses and property owners within the South Lake Avenue Business District, the City of Pasadena and residential communities.  We are currently accepting submissions for the February 2009 newsletter so if you are a South Lake Avenue business or property owner and would like to participate in the newsletter, please e-mail your submission to slba@southlakeavenue.org by January 20th.
