On Saturday, October 12th, the South Lake Business Association will present the 5th Annual "Taste of South Lake".
Guests can enjoy mouth-watering offerings from the restaurants of South Lake Avenue, special live cooking demos, a beer and wine garden and live music performances.

ROOFTOP CINEMA NIGHT A SUCCESS!
 Rooftop Cinema Night on South Lake was held on August 31, 2013. At this complimentary outdoor movie screening, presented by the South Lake Business Association and co-sponsored by Pasadena Towers, several hundred guests enjoyed the 80's favorite "Back to the Future" under the stars. The event offered a great opportunity for friends and family to enjoy a last blast of summer! |

Assistance League of Pasadena's Craft Fair Gift Shop sells hand crafted items made by men and women over the age of 50. The shop is Assistance League's philanthropy for seniors. Volunteers staff the shop. When sales are made, the money is returned to the senior exhibitor who made the item. There are a wide variety of hand made objects for sale from baby blankets and bibs, to pottery and purses. Everything is very unique and, of course, hand made. Come take a look and support local crafters.

PROGRAM ENDS DECEMBER 31
The Pasadena Enterprise Zone Program, like all such programs throughout California, will end December 31, 2013 due to State legislation recently signed by Gov. Jerry Brown.
Pasadena businesses participating in the current Enterprise Zone Program must submit all required documents and forms to the City by 5:00 p.m., Nov. 20, 2013 in order for the City to issue appropriate vouchers by Dec. 31 for tax use by the participating businesses.
The City has developed a "Frequently Asked Questions" list to help answer some questions about the end of the Pasadena Enterprise Zone program. The FAQ is found online at Enterprise Zone FAQ. |
