SOUTH LAKE CELEBRATES HOLIDAYS!
Thousands attended South Lake Avenue's Holidayfest held on December 2, 2017. Guests enjoyed free family friendly holiday activities such as horse and carriage rides, in-store specials, live music, holiday crafts, carolers, holiday characters, photos with Santa, a scavenger hunt and over $7,900 in prizes!
The South Lake Business Association's monthly newsletter is a source of information and news for business and property owners within the South Lake Avenue Business District, the City of Pasadena, and residential communities. We are currently accepting submissions for the February 2018 newsletter. PASADENA BUSINESSES & RESIDENTS TARGETED IN RECENT UTILITY SCAMS!
Scammers disguising themselves as Pasadena Water and Power (PWP) employees have attempted to extort money from commercial and residential customers, threatening to shut off service unless a payment is made immediately over the phone.
Customers with concerns about a caller may:
* Request their name, identification, employer name, and a call back number. * Call PWP at (626) 744-4005 to verify the legitimacy of the caller, or call the Pasadena Police Department at (626) 744-4241 to report a fraudulent payment. For more information, visit PWP Fraud Protection.
